Money Prize
AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon® offers:
- up to € 53,000.00 for the May edition
- up to € 39,000.00 for the September edition
Prizes are gross of withholding tax (20% – Art. 30 of Presidential Decree 600/1973) and will be paid at the end of the Tournament, upon completion of the appropriate receipt form.
During the official ceremony, podium teams will receive, in addition to the cash prize, gadgets and products supplied by sponsors.
Medals will be awarded to podium teams in the following categories:
- 2×2 Women
- 2×2 Men
- 2×2 Mixed
- Platinum bracket of 3×3 Women, 3×3 Men, and 4×4 Mixed
Athletes awarded on the podium must wear the official Tournament tank top.
Collecting the Prize
Cash prizes must be collected by one team member, presenting:
- the voucher certifying the placement (collected at the bracket desk);
- a valid ID;
- tax code (for Italian athletes only).
Prize Collection Deadlines
- Within 1 hour of the end of the prize-awarding match.
- For podium teams, collection is permitted only after the awards ceremony.
Uncollected Prizes
Prizes not collected within one hour of the ceremony, as well as those of teams absent from the podium, will be donated to SOS HANDICAP BAMBINI INVISIBILI – ONLUS.
Attention: prize amounts will be awarded provided that no less than 2,500 teams participate for the May edition and no less than 500 teams for the September edition. Should the number of registered teams be lower than stated, the prize amounts will be proportionally reduced.
Finally, if final-phase matches are permanently suspended due to exceptional adverse weather or other sudden external events (e.g., flooding, vandalism), for each ongoing bracket the remaining prize purse—excluding any amounts already awarded—will be evenly divided among the teams still in play at the time of suspension, unless the net amount per team is €50.00 or less; in that case, no prize money will be awarded.
